Darkest dungeon switch ui11/15/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() I also wish you could quickly TAB through the town buildings instead of open closing each one every time.A copious and often brilliant, if not quite unmissable reworking of a powerfully grim fantasy. I think that the feel of the game and the smoothness of playing it is almost as important as the gameplay itself, the menus for equiping trinkets and viewing the map and such could be streamlined a bit, such as I wish you could drag a trinket to a heros portrait and it would equip if they had empty slots. In a game that's sold as being very difficult, that's kind of a big issue. The number of people complaining about having to switch between map and inventory constantly is almost non-existent compared to the number of people complaining that the game is too easy once you learn the basic mechanics early on. I just think the developers have much higher priorities before release, like making sure the end-game content lives upto expectations, working on town events, and coming up with a solution to the polar divide in the community about the game either being too hard or too easy. An option in the menu would be nice though. ![]() ![]() It wasn't until after about 30 hours of gameplay that I started getting a bit fed up with switching from map to inventory on the UI, so I definitely wouldn't change it by default. The current UI design with the skeletons was one of the first things about the game that really caught my eye. But I guess since the game is going to be fully released soon it is too late for any major changes :(.
